Piran is one of the best dive sites on the Slovenian coast.
There are huge possibilities for diving in Piran. The first is certainly the Piran Punta - Cape Madona. It is a dive site in a natural park with a rocky bottom, which is extremely rich with flora and fauna. Rocky reef extends to a depth of 15 meters and visibility is usually very good. If we descend deeper we are very close to the the deepest point of the Slovenian sea – it is called underwater Triglav (named by the highest Slovene mountain) at a depth of 38 m.
The third Piran dive site is a reef under the Piran church. Besides admiring the ancient Roman road which today lies just a few meters below the sea level, this location offers all the advantages of the natural park.
