PADI Basic Freediver
PADI Basic Freediver Course teaches the basic principles of freediving and breath-holding techniques in a pool or confined water environment.
PADI Basic Freediver program is an introduction to basic freediving, where you will learn the basic principles of freediving and focus on practicing breath-holding techniques in a pool or confined water environment.
To enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver Course you must be at least 12 years old and have appropriate swimming skills. No prior freediving experience is required.
The course consists of two parts:
- the theoretical part of the course,
- the practical part of the course, where you will learn breath-holding techniques, static and dynamic apnea and proper buddy procedures. The course aims to achieve 90 seconds of static apnea and 25 meters of dynamic apnea (horizontal).
Children between 8 and 12 years can enroll in the PADI Skin Diver course.
