PADI Skin diver
The PADI Skin Diver course is a course designed for snorkeling followed by occasional breath-hold dives during which you can observe underwater life. It is a good way to explore the underwater world when you cannot or do not want to dive with scuba diving equipment.
During the PADI Skin Diver course will learn how to enjoy observing life below the surface and to be comfortable going underwater for short visits, whether you are diving in a local lake or the ocean, at home or at a holiday dive destination.
During the course you will learn:
- how to choose, adjust and use diving equipment,
- basic rules for safe snorkeling and freediving,
- use of ABC diving equipment, protective suits and weights,
- proper buoyancy,
- perform easy dives between snorkeling.
To enroll in the PADI Skindiver course, you must be 8 years old and have appropriate swimming skills. No prior freediving experience is required.
